The Morning Star is the daily paper of the left and it comes out 6 days a week. It contains news on social, political and trade union issues. Its international news section has items on issues from all parts of the world. It carries a wide range of features including on socialism,climate change, anti-imperialism, anti-racism, gender and cultural matters.
The Morning Star prints contributions by writers from a variety of left-wing political perspectives including Jeremy Corbyn, Diane Abbott. Alan Simpson, Claudia Webb and Robert Griffiths. Andrew Murray is the political correspondent and the international correspondent is Roger Mckenzie.
The Morning Star can be ordered from any newsagents and is stocked in The Morning Star's editorial stance is in line with Britain's Road to Socialism, the programme of the Communist Party of Britain, although the paper has been owned by a co-operative, the People's Printing Press Society since 1945.
